Grout Color Sealing

Take advantage of our newest service Grout Color Sealing. This new process allows us to completely change the look of your existing grout to any of our 50 designer colors or simply pick the color that matches your grout now and watch as it becomes like new again. This is a great way to completely restore older stained grout. The cleaning process is the same as our Silver Package which means you first get a deep cleaning of your tile and grout. Once the grout dries we will apply a colored grout dye using a toothbrush or paintbrush. In most cases two coats of dye are applied. This process does not make the grout joints look painted but looks as if you re-grouted the joints. The dye does not penetrate into the tile and is wiped off after the grout lines dry. One other benefit to this service is the dye contains an impregnating sealer. This allows for easier cleaning of the grout as it repels dirt, oil and liquid spills.

The cleaning/color seal process is not messy at all, no dirt or dust flying around. Depending on the amount of grout to be colored, the process can usually be done in one full day and one half day so you don't lose the use of the areas where we are working for an extended period of time. Once the process is complete you can use the areas after 2-3 hours. Just remember not to have any large gatherings in the areas that are color sealed for about 1 week. Also do not do any heavy washing to the floor for about 2 weeks.

With proper maintenance the color itself will last about 10 years. The impregnating sealer should be reapplied every 2-3 years. We will also instruct you as to which cleaning methods are the best to keep your floor looking new for years to come.
